Rhinebeck NY – March 4, 2009: The Dutchess County Fairgrounds, in partnership with Advanced Recovery, Inc. and the Hudson Valley Green Fair, is hosting an Electronics Take-Back Days program during Earth Day weekend, April 24th, 25th and 26th, 2009.

Individuals: $10 Per Carload; No Pre-Registration Necessary. On April 25th and 26th, 2009, during the hours of the Hudson Valley Green Fair, individuals can bring as much of their old electronic equipment as they can fit into their cars to the Fairgrounds (between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.), and for a flat fee of $10 per car, leave those items for safe, effective disposal/recycling by Advanced Recovery, Inc. Anyone who does so will receive up to two discount coupons for $2.00 off the $8.00 price of admission to the Hudson Valley Green Fair.

Businesses: Fees Based on Inventory to be Recycled; Pre-Registration Required. On Friday, April 24th, 2009, the Fairgrounds, Advanced Recovery and the Green Fair also will hold an electronics take-back day for small- and medium-sized businesses. Companies wishing to turn in their old computers, printers, fax machines, etc., must first pre-register with Advanced Recovery, Inc., by calling Bob Travers at 845-858-8809. Fees charged to each company will be determined by the amount of inventory the firm recycles.
